How can we help?
OmiGame lets you play traditional Sri Lankan Omi against bots or with friends in private multiplayer rooms. The answers below cover common questions and troubleshooting.
Playing Against Bots
From the home screen, select Online and tap Play. A game starts with three computer-controlled players. You do not need a Friends account to play against bots.
Playing With Friends
- Sign in or register for an OmiGame account.
- Select Friends.
- Create a room or enter a room code to join an existing room.
- Share the room code with your friends.
- The host can arrange teams and fill available positions as supported by the game.
- Start the match when the room is ready.
Game Basics
OmiGame follows the traditional partnership format used by this app:
- Four players play as two teams, with partners seated opposite each other.
- The deck uses 32 cards: 7, 8, 9, 10, J, Q, K and A.
- The trump caller receives four cards first and selects the trump suit.
- The remaining cards are then dealt.
- Players must follow the led suit when they have a card of that suit.
- The server validates turns, legal plays, tricks and scoring.
